The Academy is looking to appoint an energetic and well-qualified Geography graduate to join a strong department in the Humanities Faculty, in a highly academic school. The ideal candidate would be able to teach
across Key Stages 3 and 4, and teach KS5 either immediately or in the near future and would be keen to work at the highest level of secondary school Geography.
Successful applicants will be supported through their ECT process (if appropriate) with a dedicated mentor, in-school training and a supportive department to help them develop into a highly effective practitioner.
The candidate must be:

● Highly organised and meticulous.
● Creative and imaginative.
All students study Geography in KS3 with a broad and balanced curriculum for understanding diverse landscapes and global development ,as well as preparation for further academic study. GCSE Geography is a
popular choice at KS4 with approximately half the year group choosing to take the course - AQA GCSE Geography. The learning journey continues at KS5 with AQA A level Geography.
