Sir William Borlase's Grammar School
Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School is a highly successful, co-educational state-funded grammar school located in the heart of Marlow. We are incredibly proud of our rich sporting heritage, particularly our hockey program, which stands as one of the leading state school hockey clubs in the country. With over 300 active members across girls' and boys' teams, our program spans everything from early talent introduction to national indoor and outdoor finals.
At Borlase, our core sporting ethos
balances competitive ambition with inclusivity. Our overarching goal is to

full potential, whether they are picking up a stick for the first time or trialling
for junior international squads.
We are seeking an inspiring, motivated, and dynamic Assistant Director of Hockey to work collaboratively alongside our Director of Hockey. You will play a pivotal role in designing and executing a curriculum that nurtures both mass participation and elite performance.
The school has a rich hockey pedigree with a membership of
around 320 players and a number of junior internationals amongst the current
students and alumni. Borlase Hockey has just experienced one of its most
successful seasons with three teams reaching the national finals.
The school runs hockey as an extracurricular activity for all students across the autumn and spring terms, with training sessions and fixtures taking place from 4pm-6pm every weekday evening at Marlow Sports Club. We also run a comprehensive Indoor hockey program from September to April for all age groups.
