BAND A , POINT 2  (£24,522 FTE, £4,256.45 PRO RATA)

7.5 HOURS PER WEEK 

TERM TIME (39 WEEKS) 

Queen Elizabeth Grammar School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and adaptable technician to support the Facilities Team curriculum.   This is a busy and varied role and candidates should have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. 

Main responsibilities will include: 

  • Ensuring the supervision of students at appropriate times. 
  • Ensuring that all minor problems and infringements of disciplinary rules are dealt with swiftly and effectively, reporting persistent and unruly behavior or more serious breaches of discipline to a senior member of the teaching staff by the process established in the school.
  • Ensuring that health and safety practices and procedures affecting students are maintained during the lunchbreak.
  • Assisting  where necessary in ensuring that persons on the premises, who are not students or staff, are authorised and appropriately dealt with (in accordance with guidance issued from time to time).
  • Liaising with kitchen/dining room staff to ensure smooth meal service.  Supervising and assisting students with their food where  necessary.  Supporting any school policies regarding meals provision.
