Shenley Brook End School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Religious Education, with the ability to teach across the full age range, including A-level (Philosophy & Ethics).

We offer Religious Education across all Key Stages, including non-examined courses at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, and A-level Philosophy & Ethics at Key Stage 5. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-established and valued subject within our curriculum.

The successful candidate will be a passionate and reflective practitioner with a strong desire to deliver engaging, thought-provoking and innovative lessons. They will be keen to further develop the subject and will have the enthusiasm and ambition to lead RE within our school community.

·         Have a passion for teaching

·         Have experience of teaching across Key Stage 4 and 5, including exam groups

·         Have a high regard for their learning environment and resources

·         Aspire to be a talented, dynamic and an ambitious teacher, who will ensure good progress for all students

·         Have the ability to inspire, engage and enthuse students

·         Be skilled at fostering independent and collaborative student-led learning
