We are seeking an organised, approachable, and professional individual to join our team as a Receptionist & Administrative Assistant.

Role Overview

As the first point of contact at RISE Education, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience for students, parents, and visitors. You will also provide valuable administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist visitors, parents, and pupils in a warm and professional manner
  • Answer and direct telephone calls and respond to emails
  • Manage reception duties, including visitor sign-in procedures in line with safeguarding policies
  • Provide administrative support to teaching and leadership staff
  • Maintain accurate student records and school databases
  • Support attendance monitoring and reporting
  • Handle school communications, post, and deliveries
  • Support with school admissions and attendance
  • Support members of SLT and the proprietor
  • Organise meetings, appointments, and school calendars
  • Assist with the coordination of school events and activities

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a school or administrative role preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A calm, friendly, and professional approach
