About this Role

We are seeking reliable and professional Exam Invigilators to join our bank of staff supporting examinations throughout the academic year, including external exam seasons and internal assessments. These roles are offered on a casual, flexible basis, and training will be provided.

This is an essential position, ensuring the smooth, fair and secure running of our examination processes. Working closely with our Exams Officer, successful applicants will be responsible for:

  • Setting out and collecting exam papers and materials
  • Admitting students to exam halls and rooms
  • Invigilating throughout examinations
  • Collating completed papers for return to exam boards

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Calm, reassuring and supportive towards students
  • Honest, reliable and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Alert, vigilant and able to remain focused for the duration of exams (up to 3 hours)
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team

If you are looking for a rewarding and flexible role within a supportive school environment, we would be delighted to hear from you. We encourage early applications, as interviews will be held on a rolling basis. We reserve the right to close the vacancy early if a suitable number of applications is received.

Great Heights Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references prior to appointment. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all sections of the community regardless of age, disability, gender, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.
