  • Providing feedback to teaching staff about the lesson and student behaviour.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
  • Is confident, resilient, and able to manage classroom behaviour positively.
  • Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is flexible, reliable, and able to think on their feet.

  • Numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to NVQ level 2 or GCSE C in Maths and English
  • A Degree is desirable but not essential
  • Competence in the use of ICT to support teaching and learning
  • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and within a team
  • A basic understanding of how secondary schools operate (training will be provided to support with this)

In Return, We Offer:

  • A supportive and welcoming team environment, with dedicated pastoral and behaviour training and support.

  • Access to high quality Continuous Professional Development, including safeguarding, behaviour management and support for those wishing to progress into teaching

  • A chance to gain valuable classroom experience.

  • The satisfaction of making a meaningful contribution to students’ education.

  • Term time, school hours only working, helping to support a genuine work-life balance
