Actual salary £20,562p.a. (33.75 hours per week, term time only.)
Hours of Work: 08.20 - 15.40

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our vibrant secondary school community. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day running of the school by providing high-quality classroom supervision in the absence of a teacher.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring students remain focused, engaged, and on task. You will supervise whole classes across a range of subjects when teachers are absent due to short-term sickness, professional development, meetings, or time allocated for planning, preparation, and assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising students in the classroom during the absence of the regular teacher.
Ensuring a calm and purposeful learning environment.
Managing classroom behaviour effectively and in line with the school's policies.
Supporting students to complete the work set and helping with any queries where possible.
Providing feedback to teaching staff about the lesson and student behaviour.
