About this Role

Leisure Centre Cleaner (Fixed Term – 1 Year) - 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 5:30am to 9:30am, 52 weeks per year.  Grade A - Step 1 Actual Annual Salary £13,294.59pa. (which is equivalent to a full-time salary of £24,595).

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at a busy leisure centre on a fixed-term contract for 1 year. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members and visitors. If you take pride in keeping spaces clean and presentable, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning gym areas, studios, changing rooms, and communal spaces
  • Maintaining high hygiene standards throughout the facility
  • Restocking supplies such as soap, towels, and paper products
  • Reporting any maintenance or safety issues
  • Following health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience required
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and dependable with a positive attitude
