Overview of the job
At Challney, our science team enjoys a
diverse range of talents covering multiple specialisms and plays host to some
of the school’s strongest teachers. The
team has a robust tradition of distributing responsibilities and cultivating
talent and has a consistent history of promoting from within when it comes to
leadership opportunities.
The department is housed across our S
corridor and our new SEA block. Each
classroom is equipped with a full laboratory with the complete range of
experimental equipment available from the Science Technical Support team.
The
school’s well-established science team have consistently secured excellent GCSE
results over the last five years.
We provide a strong culture of support and care for our staff.
The successful candidate will demonstrate real
enthusiasm for teaching science and a willingness to work to make an already
established department even stronger with full CPD and ECT support
