At Challney, we are strongly committed to ensuring that all students
have exposure to the creative arts and are continuing to build and develop our
Expressive Arts provision. Our Music department has flourished greatly over the
last couple of years and we are now in a position to extend the offer of Expressive
Arts to include Drama.
Our faculties have a robust tradition
of distributing responsibilities and cultivating talent and has a consistent
history of promoting from within when it comes to leadership
opportunities. We provide a strong culture of support and care for our
staff.
The successful candidate will
demonstrate real enthusiasm for teaching Drama and a willingness to work to
make an already established department even stronger with full CPD and ECT
support available. By joining us at Challney High School for Boys you

career as an outstanding practitioner of drama teaching.
Purpose of the post
