About this Role

We welcome applicants for the role of Head of Sociology and/or Psychology. The role involves, in addition to the requirements of a main scale/UPR teacher (as appropriate), the following:

·         Developing, alongside relevant trust leads, the curriculum intent for the department

·         Leadership of the curriculum implementation for the department

·         Contributing to the wider development of whole school curriculum intent and design, modelling best practice and expertise in curriculum design and implementation to other curriculum leaders.

·         Contributing to shared curriculum planning and assessment as appropriate within the school and wider Trust.

·         Line managing staff  in the department team

Maiden Erlegh School is a highly successful comprehensive school for students from 11-18 years old, situated in Lower Earley, near Reading.
