Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning
Deliver well-planned, challenging and inspiring lessons that align with Trust and school curriculum expectations.
Support students to manage their own learning effectively and achieve ambitious outcomes.
Maintain high standards of classroom practice, including assessment, feedback and behaviour management.
Assessment and Progress
Use formative and summative assessment to track progress, inform planning and identify appropriate interventions.
Provide constructive feedback that enables students to improve and reach their potential.
Communicate regularly with parents and carers about student progress, targets and next steps.
Behaviour and Wellbeing
Uphold and model the Trust’s Behaviour, Safeguarding and Inclusion policies to ensure the wellbeing of all students.
Create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment.
Promote good attendance, positive relationships and high standards of conduct across the school.
Collaboration and Professionalism
Work collaboratively within departmental and tutor teams to share practice and support consistency.
