The Evening Site Assistant plays a key role in supporting the smooth running of the school outside normal hours. You will be responsible for preparing facilities for evening and community lettings, closing the site, and ensuring the safety and security of the premises throughout your shift.
25 hours per week, all year round.
Monday to Friday: 4.00pm - 9.00pm
The role involves liaising with external users, responding to queries, and providing a welcoming and professional presence on site. You will carry out basic health and safety checks, address minor issues as they arise, and ensure rooms are left clean, secure and ready for the next day.
Key Skills and Experience
Experience of caretaking, site supervision or facilities support (desirable but not essential)
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for site security and safety
Good communication skills with the confidence to deal professionally with staff, students and external users
Practical approach with basic maintenance and problem-solving skills
Understanding of health and safety procedures, or willingness to learn
Reliable, punctual and flexible, with the ability to work evenings on a regular basis
