We are seeking a dedicated Community Gym Assistant to join our Community Lettings team and support the continued success of our school lettings

This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference behind the scenes, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the community letting facilities run smoothly and efficiently. Your contribution will help create an environment where pupils, staff, visitors and members of the wide community feel supported, valued and able to thrive.

About the Role

As a Community Gym Assistant you will be responsible for the safe and efficient running of the gym floor, greeting members/potential members, signposting memberships, upselling classes, setting up for classes, and maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the gym and ancillary facilities

  • Meet and greet members

  • Lead on pre-booked inductions for new or returning members.

  • Support with the positive promotion and marketing of the gym and classes.

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Has experience of working in the sports and leisure industry

  • Has a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification or equivalent

  • AAle to be flexible and committed to working evenings and weekends

Scott Medical Healthcare College is a 14 - 19 mixed studio school with approximately 50 students per year group, specialising in a curriculum and vocational enrichment programme tailored towards students wishing to follow a career in medicine and healthcare
