We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, committed and caring with good organisational skills and the ability to work on their own initiative and are committed to Airedale Academy values. Candidates should enjoy working with young people in a busy environment and have clear communication skills. We can offer you a rewarding and challenging position within our friendly school environment. Previous school and exams experience is preferred although not essential as training will be provided.  Flexibility in working hours would be required for all examination periods (including mock examinations).

You should have:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to maintain calm, disciplined and effective examination conditions
  • The ability to adapt and be flexible
  • The ability to invigilate for several hours at a time, if required
  • The ability to patrol the examination room on a regular basis.

This opportunity is a casual contract where hours and dates of work will be agreed with successful candidates- please note that the examination periods are the dates that invigilators will need to be available for work.
