This is a full-time teaching post

We have an excellent opportunity for an inspirational and enthusiastic Teacher of Engineering & Design Technology to join our friendly and forward-thinking team at Swavesey Village College. This is an ideal position for an ambitious teacher who wishes to develop their practice in a supportive and innovative environment.

  • Qualified Teaching Status with degree in specialist subject
  • Evidence of teaching Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Evidence of securing high outcomes from students
  • Ability to use IT to support effective teaching and learning
  • Commitment to continuing professional development
  • Effective form tutoring and committed to the importance of pastoral support
  • Understand and be a proud advocate of the five values of all Meridian Trust schools
  • Believe that students make the best progress when teaching is well planned and delivered
