The successful candidate must be
able to deliver the curriculum to a high level, across all year groups, working
closely with the MFL team. The successful candidate will be a hard-working
individual; a teacher with high expectations and an unwavering determination to
get the best outcomes for students.
The College has been rated ‘Good in all
Areas’ in its recent Ofsted and secured some of the best results in the South
West for student progress over recent years. It has a strong staff team in
place to ensure every child is enabled to fulfil their potential including
specialist teachers at all levels. We have an excellent academic record, and
our pastoral support is second to none. Our students report that they feel very
happy and safe at the school. We are proud of our students, and they are proud
of their school. The relationships between staff and students are strong.
Community engagement is also an important feature; we have an active
Parent/Teacher Association (FOSDA—Friends of South Dartmoor Academy).
If you want to work in an inspiring, fully
