About this Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Coordinator to support our Behaviour Team in the management of our Reset and Internal Reflection rooms, and continue to develop our caring and supportive learning environment for our young people, including the school vision of "Achieving Excellence through Curriculum and Culture". 

Under the direction of their Line Manager, within an agreed system of supervision, the postholder will be responsible for the effective day-to-day organisation, coordination, supervision of students and support of the Reset and Internal Reflection rooms (CORE rooms).  Implementing agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom/CORE rooms.

What we are looking for:-

  • Recent experience of working closely with children and young people to support improvements in behaviours and attitudes
  • Understanding of the issues related to the motivation, behaviours and attitudes of young people
  • Understanding of the current issues related to disengagement of young people with education
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop successful working relationships
  • Experience of implementing targeted and specialist strategies with individuals/groups in or out of the classroom

This role is full-time, term-time - 37 hours per week x 39 weeks per annum.
