About this Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Trust at Ashburton Primary School.  We are looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants / Mealtime Assistants starting at the beginning of January 2026. 

These roles are fixed term until the end of August 2026. 

Role 1: Hours are Monday to Friday, 26.25 hours per week as a Teaching Assistant and 2.5 hours per week as a Mealtime Assistant, 38 weeks per year.

Role 2: Hours are Teaching Assistant 18.25 hours, Monday to Friday, 1.30 to 3.30pm, plus 8.25 hours times to be negotiated, 38 weeks per year

You will need to be enthusiastic, have a knowledge of how children learn and be committed to a collaborative approach working with colleagues to deliver the highest quality support and best possible outcomes for each child.  You should have a clear understanding of safeguarding and be passionate about working with children..
