About this Role

Learning Mentor  and ACE Tutor

The Ravensbourne School

Join a school where ambition meets inclusion. At The Ravensbourne School, we are proud to be a forward-thinking, thriving community that places support, resilience, and personalised learning at the heart of everything we do.

We are seeking an exceptional Learning Mentor / ACE Tutor to join our dedicated and high-performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate, motivated individual to help remove barriers to learning, champion student wellbeing, and empower pupils to achieve their full potential.

This is more than a support role – it’s a chance to transform lives, raise aspirations, and make a meaningful impact every day. You’ll be joining a community that values collaboration, professional development, and continuous improvement, where your work will help unlock confidence, independence, and success.

If you are ready to support with purpose, bring fresh ideas, and contribute to a school committed to nurturing every learner, we would love to hear from you.

You Are:
• Someone who puts student wellbeing and success at the centre of everything you do.
• A reflective practitioner who embraces empathy, creativity, and evidence-informed approaches.
• A champion for inclusion who understands the challenges faced by vulnerable and disadvantaged pupils.
• A team player who contributes to a culture of support, ambition, and shared excellence.
• A values-driven individual who leads with integrity, patience, and compassion.

We Are Looking for Someone Who:
• Is committed to helping pupils overcome barriers such as anxiety, attendance issues, and low confidence.
• Can engage and motivate students of all abilities through tailored mentoring and targeted interventions.
• Is dedicated to inclusive education, particularly supporting SEND and disadvantaged learners.
• Thrives in a dynamic, ambitious environment and is ready to make a lasting impact.
• Is willing to deliver cover lessons when required and help oversee the Removal Room to maintain a calm, purposeful atmosphere.

We Offer:
• A school with a clear vision, strong values, and a culture of excellence and professional growth.
• A supportive pastoral and SEND team, with opportunities for specialist training.
• A collaborative environment where your insights and ideas are valued.
• A vibrant community of staff, students, and families who are committed to growing together.
• Access to high-quality CPD, career development, and progression pathways.
