SALARY: NJC Scale 3 points 5 -
7 (£28,521 - £29,346), starting at point 5, actual salary £27,107 to £27,891 40 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term
time only).

About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting student
learning by supervising classes during teacher absences. Working closely with
teaching staff and the senior leadership team, you will ensure that students
remain engaged and maintain good behaviour while following set lesson plans.
Key
Responsibilities
· -Supervise and
manage classrooms, ensuring students remain on task.
· -Maintain discipline
and uphold the school’s behaviour policies.
· -Provide guidance
and respond to students’ general queries.
· -Ensure the
completion of pre-set work and provide feedback to teachers.
· -Support the
school’s safeguarding policies, ensuring the well-being of all students.
· -Assist in
extra-curricular activities such as sports clubs (desirable but not essential).
· -Supervise students
during school trips and other activities as required.
· -Participate in
staff training and professional development opportunities.
