About this Role

We are currently looking for a committed and passionate Attendance Officer to oversee responsibilities regarding student attendance at Newquay Tretherras. The main focus of this role is to enhance attendance rates for all students, with a special emphasis on vulnerable groups such as those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), disadvantaged students, and children in care.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with students, families, the pastoral support team, and external agencies to improve school attendance. This will involve analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, implementing targeted interventions, and evaluating their effectiveness.

Ensuring high levels of student attendance is crucial for their academic success, making this role a key component in the overall functioning of the academy.
