Role: Teacher of Design Technology - 3 vacancies
Salary: M1-UPS3
Start Date: 1st September 2026
As a Teacher of Design Technology, you will be able to:
Teach Design Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4
Deliver engaging, practical lessons in resistant materials (wood, metal, plastics, CAD/CAM)
Promote creativity, technical accuracy and safe workshop practice
Support students to develop real-world making skills and design thinking
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities such as clubs, competitions or STEM projects
Design Technology is a popular subject with students. You will be a key player within our Design Technology team, expertly planning for the needs of every student and assessing accurately to ensure that every student is able to thrive. A willingness to teach Hospitality & Catering if required, is also needed.
We would welcome applications from newly qualified or experienced teachers and we provide an extensive and highly supportive programme for our Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and a diverse range of professional improvement opportunities for more experienced staff.
