About this Role

We are seeking a Teacher of Social Science to join our growing and successful Social Science department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is keen to inspire students and contribute to the continued development of a popular subject area at GCSE and A Level. Applications are welcome

The Role

As a Teacher of Social Science, you will:

Teach Social Science subjects across KS4 and KS5
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive and well‑sequenced lessons
Assess and monitor student progress, using data to inform teaching
Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive department
Support subject enrichment and promote a strong culture of
achievement
Uphold high expectations for learning, behaviour and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:
Is a strong classroom practitioner with a passion for Social Sciences
Has experience of, or the ability to teach, Social Science subjects at KS4 and KS5.
Is reflective, organised and committed to continuous professional development
Builds positive relationships with students and colleagues
