About this Role

Hockerill Anglo-European College is seeking an exceptional Singing Teacher to join our outstanding Music Department from September. This exciting opportunity involves delivering high-quality one-to-one singing tuition across a range of styles, with a particular focus on Rock and Pop, alongside Musical Theatre. The ability to teach Classical singing would also be highly advantageous.
This is a self-employed position offering an hourly rate of £44. Applications are already coming in for the next academic year, with approximately 2.5 hours of teaching currently available, although this is anticipated to grow significantly.
We are looking for an inspiring and highly skilled vocal specialist with experience across contemporary vocal styles and a genuine passion for music education. Working closely with the Head of Instrumental Studies, the successful candidate will play an important role in developing and strengthening vocal provision across the College, contributing to performances, concerts, and the wider musical life of the school.
The role will include:
  • Delivering high-quality one-to-one singing tuition
  • Teaching primarily Rock and Pop vocals, alongside Musical Theatre repertoire
  • Supporting students preparing for performances, concerts, exams, and auditions
  • Encouraging healthy vocal technique and stylistic versatility
  • Collaborating with a team of outstanding professional instrumental teachers
  • Supporting the continued growth and excellence of singing at the College
