About this Role

We are seeking a motivated and organised PE Technician to support the Physical Education department. This role is essential in helping to ensure the smooth running of lessons, clubs, and fixtures, while contributing to a positive experience for all students involved in sport.

The successful candidate will become part of a supporting and forward looking PE department, where they will assist PE staff during lessons and extra-curricular clubs, making sure that all equipment is prepared in advance and set up appropriately for use. They will support the organisation of sports fixtures, attend and assist at after-school events, and help coordinate the college’s annual Sports Day, Sports Dinner, and Equipe competitions. In addition to working directly with students and staff, the technician will carry out a variety of administrative tasks as directed by the Head of Physical Education and Sport.
This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate looking for a career in education to develop further in the profession.  The successful applicant would have the opportunity to combine this with a Boarding role, (hourly rate £15.69ph).  Please indicate in your personal statement if you would also like to be considered for a Boarding role.  This is a term time plus inset days position. Monday - Friday, 1200-1700, with an additional 50 hours across the year.
The College reserves the right to interview and appoint to this post before the given deadline.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. All post-holders are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) including barred list check.
