Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies across the school
  • Engage with and support the implementation of initiatives, ensuring they are tailored to the needs of our school and staff
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of teaching and learning, providing feedback and support to teachers
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making processes within the school Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among the teaching staff

We are looking for someone with a proven track record in excellent classroom practice who:

  • is an outstanding practitioner with experience of teaching upper key stage two
  • has strong subject knowledge of the primary National Curriculum
  • has high expectations for all pupil’s attainment, achievement and behaviour
  • has proven impact of leading a whole school area from Reception to Year 6
  • has experience of working collaboratively with colleagues to support their professional development
  • has experience of analysing data and assessment for target setting in a specific area
  • has experience using monitoring and triangulation to review the quality of education and personal development
  • has experience of networking with all stakeholders in a led area

This role will have a full time class commitment but weekly leadership time will be allocated to enable the successful candidate to carry out and complete leadership responsibilities.
