About this Role

The Candidate

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We’re looking for a committed and compassionate Safeguarding Officer to become a key part of our pastoral team. With a background in supporting students facing emotional or behavioural challenges, you’ll bring valuable experience and a calm, reassuring presence to this vital role. A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is ideal, alongside a drive to help every child feel safe, heard, and supported.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives on building meaningful relationships and working collaboratively to safeguard pupils. You’ll be a natural communicator, able to earn trust quickly and navigate sensitive situations with care and professionalism. If you’re organised, resilient, and confident in liaising with external agencies, this role offers a chance to truly shape the support we provide to our young people.

Joining our team means being part of a supportive, forward-thinking Trust that puts student wellbeing at the heart of everything. You’ll work closely with experienced safeguarding leaders, contribute to impactful training, and help develop early intervention strategies that really work. If you’re ready to take the next step in your safeguarding career, we’d love to hear from you.

37 Hours and 39.2 weeks per year (term-time only)
