About this Role

The Candidate

We are looking to appoint a highly organised, efficient and effective administrator to join our Attendance Administration team at The de Ferrers Academy.  This role will support the effective delivery of attendance processes within the academy. Responsibilities include contacting parents to establish reasons for students’ absences, maintaining accurate records and following up any outstanding absences in liaison with staff and families. The role will also involve producing daily attendance reports and providing wider administrative support to ensure attendance systems run smoothly.

The successful candidate will possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to a high level of accuracy.  They will have strong interpersonal skills allowing them to work well with all stakeholders.

Knowledge of Schools systems such as SIMS and Class Charts would be an advantage but not essential.

37 hours per week, 39.2 weeks per year.
