Ninestiles, an Academy is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team as our Behaviour Modification Room Lead. Candidates must have a good level of experience of working with various levels of behaviour, have excellent communication skills and be able to promote positive values at all times within the academy. The purpose of the role is to:

Supervise
and co-ordinate the implementation and delivery of the school’s behaviour
management policy through structured reflection in the Behaviour Management Resource
(BMR) unit

Teach,
practice and provide feedback on positive social skills
- Promote the importance of inclusion not exclusion with students
Candidates will also have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills as this role requires regular contact with parents and carers, colleagues, learners and the local community. Candidates will split their time between leading the Behaviour Modification Room provision and supporting effective pastoral care across the Academy.
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate that they have previous experience in a behaviour management and/or restorative role, ideally within a school setting but not essential. Other essential skill sets involve the ability to be able to work flexibly and prioritise workload, remain calm under pressure and uphold a professional, friendly manner at all times. It is desirable if candidates have received safeguarding training or have good knowledge about child safeguarding and protection procedures, however full training will be given.
