This is an exciting opportunity for a committed candidate with:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in History, Geography, Politics, or another Humanities related subject.
High expectations of what can be achieved.

Strong subject knowledge across humanities disciplines and the ability to deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons at KS3, KS4 and KS5
A commitment to raising achievement and the quality of learning for all students.

The ability to teach History or Politics to A Level.

Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School is a forward looking, selective state school with academy status and an outstanding record of promoting academic excellence. There are currently just over 1,000 students on roll across years 7 to 13. The admission policy prioritises girls from the Lancaster District, but students do travel to us from across Lancashire and Cumbria.
