As the Inclusion Support Co-ordinator, you will support the effective delivery of SEND and inclusion provision through a combination of high-quality administration and direct student support. You will ensure that all pupils—across mainstream provision and the Hive@Healing Specialist Resource Provision (SRP)—receive the personalised support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day administration of SEND systems, maintaining accurate records, IGAPs, and pupil passports.
Work directly with students with additional needs or Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) to overcome barriers to learning.
Assist with the preparation and administration of EHCP reviews, ensuring documentation is accurate and timely.
Act as a key point of contact for staff, families, and external agencies to coordinate student support.
Assist with key transition points, including Year 7 entry and post-11 pathways, ensuring a robust handover of information.
We are seeking an exemplary practitioner who is organised, empathetic, and committed to driving up standards of inclusion.
Essential Requirements:
5 GCSEs (including English and Maths) and a Level 3 qualification in a related field.
Experience working in a school or educational environment with children or young people.
Strong IT and administrative skills with a high level of accuracy in data management.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with families and staff.
A deep commitment to safeguarding and the Harbour Learning Trust's DANCE values.
