About this Role

Oxford Spires Academy is looking to appoint Invigilators, Readers and Scribes to support the Exams Officer and Lead Invigilator in the smooth running of all exams, both internal and external.  The successful candidates will form a team of support staff ensuring that examinations are conducted according the current JCQ guidelines.

The role is flexible in terms of hours, with Invigilators, Readers and Scribes confirming to the Exams Officer the hours which they are available to commit to prior to the exam session commencing. Full training is provided.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and require all staff and volunteers to share and demonstrate this commitment. The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification and will be subject to the relevant pre-employment checks which will, where applicable, include a health check, an enhanced DBS check, the Children’s Barred List check and satisfactory references.
