Join TLC – The Learning Centre in Bromley, our independent specialist day school dedicated to supporting secondary learners aged 11–16, including those with SEND, SEMH needs, ASD and moderate learning difficulties.

At TLC, we pride ourselves on creating a nurturing, child-focused environment where learners are supported to feel safe, valued and ready to learn. With small class groups and a highly personalised approach, we ensure every learner receives the care, encouragement and support they need to thrive.

Our approach is creative, flexible and learner-centred. We use engaging, hands-on learning, community-based opportunities and carefully planned support to help learners build confidence, develop skills and achieve their potential in and beyond the classroom.

Why join us?

  • A calm, supportive and nurturing school environment

  • Small class sizes, allowing you to build strong relationships with learners

  • A friendly and committed team who support one another

  • Excellent staff benefits and a high-quality wellbeing package

  • Strong career pathways and development opportunities across Melrose Education

  • A competitive salary and pension scheme for independent schools

  • The opportunity to be part of a school where your work is valued every day

Whether you already have experience in education or are looking to start a new career, we would love to hear from you if you are:

  • Passionate about making a difference

  • Creative, adaptable and flexible

  • Patient, understanding and nurturing

  • Ready to support learners both in and out of the classroom

  • Able to work one-to-one and as part of a small team

  • Keen to develop your own skills and experience in SEND and SEMH education
