The Deputy Head of Year, will be working alongside the Head
of Year, you will be responsible for the achievement, personal development,
welfare and conduct of all students within their year group, so that: -
• Every young person achieves their true potential

beyond the classroom

The successful candidate will have experience of working
successfully with young people and their families. They will be aware of some
of the challenges facing young people yet hold the highest aspirations for
Unity College students. They will also be committed to and use strategies that
will ensure that all students are given the very best opportunities to be
successful in all areas of their lives. We are looking for a Deputy Head of
Year with experience of working with young people to secure excellent outcomes,
who is able to develop and sustain strong relationships and routines and who
will inspire students to engage widely across the Academy. Above all, Deputy
Heads of Year will model and maintain the highest of standards at all times.

Skegness Academy is a Secondary Academy located in
Skegness. All staff at the academy have high expectations and strive for
