Ormiston
Victory Academy is an innovative, positive and ambitious academy which is
seeking to appoint a non-teaching Head of Year for Safeguarding to support the
Designated Safeguarding Lead for safeguarding and child protection, assisting
the Lead to act as a source of support, advice and expertise for staff within
the school for child protection and safeguarding. They would also support a
year team with pastoral and attendance issues.
With
appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong background in
welfare and safeguarding practice, you will have a track record of working with
and supporting vulnerable young people in an educational, youth or social
service settings. You must have the ability to communicate with students, and
to motivate and support them in their studies.
