Ormiston Victory is an innovative, positive and ambitious academy which is seeking to appoint an Attendance Assistant – SEND to work as part of a highly dedicated and professional team to support our students in making exceptional progress.
The successful applicant’s key role will be to work closely with families, staff and external agencies to remove barriers to achieving excellent attendance and therefore improve outcomes for all students with additional SEND needs.
Good interpersonal skills are required together with the ability to earn and maintain the respect of students and to ensure families of our SEND children have a strong point of contact, trust is established and therefore good attendance is achieved. Applicants for this post must be enthusiastic and possess a determined character which is seen as an essential part of the role, together with a positive approach to working with young people and the ability to set clear guidelines for them..
