We are
looking for an appropriately experienced, enthusiastic and hard-working
individual to join our dedicated, supportive and highly effective Site Team as
our Cleaning Manager.
As our
Cleaning Manager you would plan, organise and manage the
delivery of all cleaning within the Academy site, ensuring your team is
motivated, engaged and that cleaning standards are of a good calibre.
This role will involve managing and training all cleaners and working with the
Site Team to ensure the building is presentable for all students, staff and
visitors.
There will be a shift pattern to
ensure that you are available to support the wider cleaning team. A degree of
flexibility will be needed outside of term time, dependent on the needs of the
academy. Hours of work will be 37 per week for school term time plus 4 weeks (42 working weeks per year).

About you
To succeed in this role you will have a good understanding of policies
and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working
practices hygiene, cleanliness, first aid, fire and COSHH. You will need an
awareness of any specific hazards at School and take responsibility for
induction training for new starts, ensuring all H&S, School and cleaning
procedures are clearly explained and demonstrated.
