The Business, Computer Science and Digital Literacy Faculty at Sutton Academy is a dynamic team of knowledgeable, passionate and dedicated teachers, committed to delivering engaging, thought-provoking lessons that inspire every student. As a new member of our faculty, you will be welcomed into a supportive and experienced team united by a shared vision of outstanding teaching and learning, underpinned by collaborative planning and robust assessment procedures. We work closely together to ensure consistency across the faculty, continually refining our practice to secure the very best outcomes for our students.
Our faculty currently comprises seven teachers, including both a Faculty Leader and Curriculum Leader for Business. Staff enjoy a positive, collaborative working environment and benefit from excellent classroom/IT facilities. We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative teacher who will contribute fully to faculty life, inspiring and engaging students through our forward-thinking curriculum. Business and IT are among the most popular subjects at the Academy, with over 100 Year 11 students and several Sixth Form classes. At Key Stage 3, our Digital Literacy curriculum is carefully mapped to the National Curriculum for Computing, offering a broad and balanced programme that blends technical computing units with creative IT topics.
