Duties and Responsibilities:

To prepare
teaching spaces for practical lessons in Art and Food.
·
To assist
with cleaning and checking of equipment, resources and materials.
·
To check
equipment for safety and report faults or damages.
·
To prepare,
organise and maintain materials for lessons and demonstrations.
·
To support
students in lessons under the direction of the classroom teacher.
·
To order,
audit and manage stock and consumables across both departments.
·
To prepare
ingredients and weigh materials for Food lessons.
·
To maintain
displays of student work within the Art department.
·
To handle
money and maintain accurate records where required.
·
To assist
with enrichment activities and curriculum events.
·
To undertake
any other reasonable duties as directed by line managers.
Resources:
·
To operate
specialist equipment such as kilns, batik pots and sewing machines.
·
To operate
Food Technology equipment including cookers, microwaves and dishwashers.
·
To work with
teaching staff to ensure safety and well-being of students.
General Duties:
·
To
participate in all aspects of training and development.
·
To comply

To comply
with Equality and Data Protection policies.
·
