We are seeking an exceptional SENDCo to lead our next phase of inclusive practice. This is a pivotal leadership role within a rapidly improving academy, offering the opportunity to shape provision, influence whole-school strategy, and make a profound difference to the lives of our most vulnerable students.

Why Join Us?

  • A values-driven culture built on Ambitious, Brave and Kind
  • A school on a strong upward trajectory, with clear and coherent improvement strategy
  • Significant investment in SEND and inclusion, including leadership capacity and external partnerships
  • The opportunity to work across both secondary and primary phases through our close partnership with Landau Forte Greenacres Primary
  • A highly supportive Trust network with strong professional development and collaboration
  • A leadership team committed to evidence-informed practice and sustainable workload

The Role

As SENDCo, you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership of SEND provision, ensuring high-quality support and strong outcomes for all students with additional needs
  • Drive a culture of inclusion, ensuring adaptive teaching is consistently strong across the curriculum
  • Lead and develop a skilled team, including teaching assistants and intervention staff
  • Oversee EHCP processes, annual reviews and external agency engagement with rigour and precision
  • Use data intelligently to identify need, evaluate impact and refine provision
  • Work closely with senior leaders to ensure SEND is central to school improvement and Ofsted readiness
  • Build strong relationships with families, ensuring they are valued partners in their child’s education

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a leader who:

  • Holds (or is working towards) the National Award for SEND Coordination (NASENCO)
  • Has a proven track record of impactful SEND leadership in a secondary setting
  • Demonstrates deep understanding of inclusive pedagogy and adaptive teaching
  • Is highly organised, resilient and able to lead with clarity and compassion
  • Can articulate and evidence the impact of provision on student outcomes
  • Is committed to delivering excellence for all students, particularly the most vulnerable

Our Commitment to You

  • Bespoke leadership development and coaching
  • Access to Trust-wide expertise and networks
  • A genuine opportunity to shape provision across a growing and ambitious organisation
  • A culture where staff are valued, supported and developed
