Due to continual expansion, we are seeking enthusiastic and
experienced Learning Support Assistants to play a key role in the lives of students with with a range of different needs (e.g. Social, Emotional and Mental Health, Cognitive and Learning, as well as Physical and Sensory needs.) You will work with a
highly professional team who believe in the inclusion and success of our students and giving them the best
possible prospects for their future lives.
We are ambitious in striving to meet individual needs and improving their
learning opportunities.
It is important you have a caring, patient and understanding nature with a true desire to promote and meet the needs of individual students. You will recognise the importance of flexibility to meet these differing needs and show initiative and insight in achieving this. With experience of working with young people with SEND, SEMH , Physical and Sensory, or cognitive and learning needs, you will of course have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to make a positive contribution to our community. It is important you have experience of working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis and be committed to prioritising the needs of students at all times.
This is a Term Time Only Contract, working 29 hours per week. Monday to Thursday 08:30am to 15:30pm, and Friday 08:30am to 13:00pm.
