We wish to appoint an HR Administrator to join our HR team to play an instrumental role in providing high-quality HR support for our employees and to contribute to the success of the Academy.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and capable individual with a proven background in HR administration to work closely with our Director of People to develop the academy’s HR provision.
You will have strong organisational skills and be able to communicate effectively with all members of our Academy community, building constructive working relationships to deliver excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to multi-task and will have a good working knowledge of core people processes associated with the employee lifecycle.
The successful candidate will:
• Be driven to deliver and develop good HR practice in a fast- paced educational setting
• Be educated to A Level or above or have equivalent experience
• Have at least 2 years’ experience of supporting a Human Resources team
• Ideally have a NVQ level 3 or CIPD level 3 or equivalent in an administration, business or HR related subject
• Have an attention to detail and accuracy in administration with experience in the use of IT packages such as HR systems, databases, MS Teams, Word, and Excel.
• Be customer-focused
• Have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
• Demonstrate discretion and sensitivity as you will be handling personal data and confidential information.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Undertaking all administration for HR matters of staff, including recruitment and payroll
• Assisting with first line HR queries and support
• Recording and monitoring staff absence and maintaining documentation
• Maintenance of staff records and reporting data from the school MIS
• Coordinating the recruitment and on-boarding process, producing adverts and liaising with candidates
