Crest Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Religious Education (RE) to join our vibrant and supportive team. Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality RE lessons that inspire students and meet curriculum standards.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work effectively to ensure strong progress for all learners.
  • Promote an inclusive classroom environment where diverse beliefs and perspectives are respected.
  • Monitor and track student attainment, providing targeted support where needed.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the academy, including enrichment activities and school events.

Pay range: M1 - U3 ( Inner London ) £40,317 - £6,2496

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related subject.
  • Proven ability (or strong potential) to teach RE at secondary level.
  • Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Experience of working in a school setting (desirable for ECTs)
