Salary:
BWT Grade 1, Point 1, full time
equivalent (FTE) salary - £24,458 per annum - £8,517.71 per annum pro
rata
Hours per week: Role 1 - 15 hours per
week - 11am to 2pm, Monday to Friday
Role 2 - 15 hours per week - 12pm - 3pm, Monday to Friday
Weeks per year: 39 weeks per year
We have the opportunity to appoint 2 Catering Assistants as
maternity cover to join our Secondary Catering Team. Our Catering Team
provide fresh hot and cold food to students and staff across all schools within
Brooke Weston Trust across Corby, Kettering and Wisbech. The successful
candidate will assist with all aspects of food preparation, food service,
kitchen and canteen hygiene in a busy and demanding environment. The
ideal candidate may already have experience working in a school catering
environment; however it is essential that any candidate shares our vision to
provide an enjoyable and safe environment during lunch times and dismiss the
age-old notion that school dinners are bad! Travel between schools may
also be required. Tasks include cleaning during lunch service and other
kitchen duties as required.
