Hours of work: The working hours will vary during the busy exam periods, Monday to Friday, term time only.
£12.65 per hour plus accrued holiday pay (NJC Pay scale, point 2)
We have vacancies for flexible and reliable individuals to join our existing, efficient and friendly exams team at All Saints Academy Dunstable as Exam Invigilators. The post would be ideally suited to applicants who live locally and are able to work flexible daytime hours.
As an Exam Invigilator you will supervise students taking examinations according to regulations determined by the Academy and Examination Boards, this will include supervising the arrival and seating of candidates, handing out exam papers with the support of the person in charge. As an Exam Invigilator you will continually monitor students writing the examination and report any irregularities, such as communication between students. The main examination periods are December/March/May and June but there may be occasions when invigilators are required outside these periods.
Full training will be provided and working hours will be negotiated for each exam period. The role may include one to one, scribing or reading for students who have qualified access arrangements because of special educational needs and disabilities. This role is based on a zero hours’ contract basis and pay will be made on submission of monthly timesheets.

All
employees and volunteers will be required to undertake safeguarding training on
induction which will be regularly updated in line with statutory guidance.
