Join our team as a Pastoral Support Manager, making a real difference every day. You will champion student wellbeing, build trusting relationships, and lead compassionate support strategies.  Key responsibilities: 

  • To support the Progress Leaders to develop strategic direction for the Year
  • To ensure that the values, principles and mission of the Academy are evident in the discharge of the duties of the post
  • To identify opportunities to innovate and bring benefit to the Academy and its stakeholders
  • To provide support and advice to students with respect to their learning, emotional and social well-being, health and safety and personal development
  • To work proactively with vulnerable students 

Pay range: 

SCP 26 - 28 £36,151.73 - £37,967.07 (FTE: £37,280 - £39,152)

37 hours per week, 43 weeks per year

Permanent 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grades 4-9) or equivalent
  • Understanding of the national curriculum especially core subject areas
  • Proven record of raising standards and pupil achievement
  • Experience of supporting the social, emotional and educational development of students
