About this Role

We require a teacher of Maths to teach KS3 and KS4.

The Maths faculty is one of the most conspicuously successful in the school. Student progress is strong. There are 7 hours of teaching per fortnight at KS3 and 8 hours per fortnight at KS4, in setted groups averaging 26 students. This summer our GCSE cohort achieved 90% 9-4 in Maths and 89% 8-9 in Further Maths. Large numbers of students continue their study of Mathematics into the sixth form and Maths is a hugely popular subject at A Level (including Further Maths), ably supported by a strong and cohesive team of teachers. At A level students achieved 85% A*-B in both Maths and Further Maths.

The ability to teach A Level and Further Maths would be an advantage.
