About this Role

We need a skilled and energetic teacher of Drama to join our team of staff in the Creative Expressive Arts Faculty, which incorporates both Music and Drama. The Faculty is built on a foundation of positive collaboration to create an offer which is exciting, diverse and challenging.  We are committed to enabling students to thrive and grow both as performers and in academic study. Drama has a high profile and excellent outcomes at JCoSS and is a very popular choice: we offer both GCSE Drama and A Level Drama & Theatre Studies, as well as a wide range of extra-curricular activities and performances, both staff- and student-led, which take place throughout the year.

The school places a high value on the opportunities that Music and Drama present, in and out of the classroom, to build personal qualities, encourage self-expression and build teamwork. If you are an enthusiastic teacher of Drama who can share this vision, we would love you to join us.  The post is suitable for early career or experienced teachers, and the possibility of teaching GCSE and A Level exists for the right candidate.
