Make a Difference to Student Life Every Day

Are you passionate about helping young people succeed, develop confidence and make the most of their college experience?

South Staffordshire College is seeking two enthusiastic Student Engagement Officers to lead an exciting programme of enrichment, learner voice and engagement activities across our campuses. This is a unique opportunity to create meaningful experiences that inspire learners, strengthen their sense of belonging and support their personal development and success.

About the Role

As a Student Engagement Officer, you will play a key role in creating meaningful opportunities that enrich the student experience.

You will coordinate and deliver a diverse range of activities including enrichment programmes, competitions, events, learner leadership initiatives, learner representative activities and Duke of Edinburgh opportunities. You will work directly with learners to ensure their voices are heard, using feedback and participation data to influence positive change and continuously improve the learner experience.

No two days will be the same. One day you could be supporting student leaders to shape college improvements, the next organising a college-wide event, coordinating enrichment activities or celebrating learner achievements.

About You

We are looking for creative, organised and energetic individuals who are passionate about working with young people. You will be confident building positive relationships, engaging learners and creating opportunities that help them thrive.

You may have experience within education, youth work, coaching, enrichment, community engagement, pastoral support or a similar learner-focused environment. Most importantly, you will share our commitment to helping every learner achieve their full potential.

Ready to Help Shape the Student Experience?

If you are passionate about creating opportunities that engage, inspire and empower young people, we'd love to hear from you. Join us and play a key role in making South Staffordshire College an exceptional place to learn, grow and succeed.

All applications must be received by: Sunday 9th August 2026

Interviews to be held: Week commencing 24th August 2026
